Terms of use

riff88 — the short version. riff88 is a place to publish and discover small web things made with AI. By using it you agree to the points below. We wrote them in plain English on purpose.

Your work stays yours. When you publish something on riff88 you keep ownership of it. You give us permission to host it, show it on the site, feature it on the front page and in the newsletter, and generate previews of it. You can take your work down at any time — its page goes away, and embedded copies show a “taken down” notice.

Only publish what's yours to publish. Publish things you made, or have the right to share. Don't publish things that are illegal, that harm or harass people, that try to steal data or credentials from visitors, or that impersonate someone else. We can take down content that breaks these rules or breaks the site, and in serious cases close the account that posted it.

Notes and likes. Notes you leave are public and attached to your name. Makers can remove notes left on their own work. Be kind; this is a small place.

The service itself. riff88 is provided as-is, without warranties. Things you open here run in your browser, sandboxed, but they're made by other people — use sensible judgment. We may change or discontinue features. If we ever discontinue the whole service, we'll give makers a reasonable window to retrieve their work.

Your account. One person per account. You're responsible for what's published with your account and your API keys — revoke any key you don't recognize in Settings.
